If you live within our practice area, and are eligible to receive
NHS treatment, you can register at the surgery.
We will ask you to arrange a New Patient Registration appointment.
This can be arranged through our reception who will take details
from you, arrange an appointment and send you a Registration Form to
complete and bring to the
arranged appointment. You will be asked to provide identity in the
form of a driving licence or passport. An NHS medical card or number
will be useful.
NHS patients who may visiting the area for a short time period are able register at the surgery as a Temporary Resident. This can be for a period of up to 3 months. A
Temporary Registration Form should be completed. The form is available at the reception desk.
The practice can offer a private, fee paying, service to persons not entitled to NHS treatment. A fee list is available at Reception.
Please note: We require
you to bring the completed forms to reception along with two utility
bills and photo identification.

CHOICE OF DOCTOR
All patients may see the doctor of their choice. You are registered with Glenlyn Medical Centre not with a particular doctor. We aim for you to see one doctor for the duration of one problem. If your preferred doctor has too long a wait then you may choose another doctor. There is a Duty Doctor every weekday for Urgent Medical Problems.
