16 May 2019 0800 - Due to the power failure in East Molesey this morning, the IT systems are down in Glenlyn. Patients are still able to make appointments in person at the desk
16 May 2019 0820 - UPDATE - the power is now restored and the IT is working. It is running very slowly. Please could patients bear with us as we restore our systems to normal.
22/03/19 WHOOPING COUGH
If you suspect your child has whooping cough - please TELEPHONE the Surgery and ask for an URGENT CALL from the doctor.
Please do not bring the child to the surgery to avoid infecting other patients.
Prescription Requests – As of 18/3/19
As a Surgery we are trying to reduce the number of paper prescription requests.
Please request your prescriptions using;
1. Online – via Patient Access
2. Email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
3. If you are unable to do the above, please hand your paper prescription request to the receptionist OR your regular pharmacy.
Online Blood Test Appointments
Our blood test appointments are now available online. Please only book if a GP has asked you to have a blood test.
If you think you require a blood test and you haven’t spoken to a GP. You can book a routine phone call with the doctor to discuss this. Alternatively, please use online triage.
All our weekend appointments are at the Emberbrook Community Centre for Health (Giggs Hill Surgery) in Thames Ditton
East Elmbridge Extended Access Service
You may be offered an appointment in the Emberbrook Community Centre for Health in Thames Ditton outside of normal working hours.
These appointments are on the same basis as our normal appointments. There are book on the day or routine appointments.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call your own surgery before 5pm so the appointment can be offered to other patients.
These clinics are best suited for patients for patients who cannot attend the surgery during the normal working day.

We are a large friendly general practice serving the population of Molesey, Thames Ditton and surrounding areas from two surgeries - Glenlyn Medical Centre in East Molesey and Giggs Hill Surgery at Emberbrook Community Centre for Health in Thames Ditton.
Our website aims to provide clear and concise information about our services and how to access them, from surgery times and contact details to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat minor ailments as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.
We offer extended hours for the convenience of working patients - early appointments are available at both surgeries and weekday evening / Saturday morning appointments are available to all patients at Glenlyn Medical Centre.
By opting in to our online services, patients can order a repeat prescription, book appointments and view their medical record online.

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided.

Both of our surgeries have step-free access and are wheelchair accessible, with dedicated disabled parking bays and lift access to the first floor. The new NHS Accessible Information Standard explains how we can help patients with specific communication needs access our services.
